C. Gregory "Gregg" Robinson, Executive Director of the Orangeburg County Development Commission (OCDC), has been elected to the Board of Directors of business debenture financer Certified Development Corporation (CDC) of South Carolina.
Robinson has been the Executive Director of the OCDC since 2005, during which time the county has announced more than $1 billion in new capital investment and over 1,700 new jobs to the area. This includes over one million square feet of announced new construction in the past 36 months.
Robinson has more than 25+ years of economic development experience, including industrial park construction and international project management. He holds both Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of South Carolina and is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute (EDI). With over 20 years as a member of the South Carolina Economic Development Association; Robinson also carries the designation of South Carolina Certified Economic Developer (SCCED) and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member Candidate (CCIM).

BDC is a non-bank commercial lending company specializing in the U.S. Small Business Administration's 7(a) loan guaranty program and the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) and is associated with CDC.
